More than 24 hours later, I’m still kind of in shock. Yesterday, we went to the Josephine’s Redeemed Revival Spring Market at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds to shop for vintage/reclaimed/antique art, collectibles, and household goods. The show is incredible, with more than 80 vendors selling their wares. We were halfway through when we came upon this local metal artist. In the corner was a seven-foot tall metal sculpture that… well… captivated me completely. I couldn’t look away, even though it was far, far out of our budget. I was also mostly convinced that it wouldn’t actually fit in my house, or that I could even find room for it. Despite those misgivings (and the price tag), Tim loved it as much as I did and we ended up buying it. The artist, Craig of Bob Wahr Creations, delivered it to our home today, and I’m happy to show it off. It barely fits in my little house, but I don’t care because it’s so fantastic! It’s very much the focal point of our home now. What a conversation piece! Craig is so supremely talented – I can’t wait to get more of his work in my home.
Nice!
That is an awesome piece of art! Good call making that purchase.
I know the feeling of having to have it in your home! It’s very creative! I love the flowers being watered! 🙂
